Not sure if you remember Tom Jenkins (you have operated on his shoulder twice). I just thought you would like to know that everything is working well for him now, in fact he just won Bronze at World Rowing Champs in Rotterdam!

Just had to say once again, thank you for the reverse total shoulder replacement you performed on 5th December 2018. Your expertise has given me a new lease of life. My physiotherapist is amazed at the speed of my recovery and I only need physio every two weeks.

I want to thank you very much for seeing me early in the year on 29 March 2018 you carried out a reverse shoulder replacement on me. The reassurance and confidence I felt after our first consultation made me feel so much better going into the operation. You explained the options clearly to me as I was quite apprehensive about it all having had the previous operation fail. I had begun to think I’d never be able to use my arm again without suffering pain. I appreciate your expertise, your honesty, your reassurance and kind manner which have all contributed to changing my life. I realise I have to still know my limitations but things are getting better all the time. Please accept my appreciation for all you have done for me.
I want to wish you and your family a very happy Christmas and hope you manage to have a lovely holiday break. Thank you again.

Almost a year ago to the day you performed an ORIF to my (L) fractured humerus, as soon as I had clearance from your orthopedic fellow last June, I was in the swimming pool struggling to swim 25 meters. Since then I have trained and trained, participated in 3 events, the most recent one the Wanaka Challenge on the 16/2/19, The NZ National Championships in the AquaBike section. This entailed a 3 km swim in Lake Wanaka, Temp. 17 degrees C. followed by a 120 km bike race in the foothills around Lakes Wanaka and Hawea.
I am proud to mention that I won a silver medal in the F 70-74 age group and will be eligible to represent NZ in the World Championships.
All this has been made possible by you and your fabulous team as well as Carolyn Mullens who gave excellent physiotherapy post-op.
My (L) shoulder and arm function perfectly fine as you can see at the attached photo, I am so very grateful and happy, THANK YOU so much.

I was so very lucky to receive your professional help in fixing my elbow. With your kindness and generosity to perform this surgery, I now can help my family more, perform chores with ease and play sports with my friends. I will hopefully continue to get stronger on my left elbow and to be able to live a normal life in Samoa. Thanks to you.

Unfortunately this was untreated, resulting in a severe left elbow deformity and disability.
